Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, had called the U.S. President Barack Obama to complain about the National Security Agency’s spying.

Mark Zuckerberg

Zuckerberg has expressed his displeasure at the Government Agency’s snooping into people’s lives, by writing a post at his Facebook page.

This is not the first time Facebook has spoken out against the NSA. Last year, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple,  Microsoft, AOL, LinkedIn and Yahoo formed an alliance to oppose the NSA’s Surveillance. Now Zuckerberg has voiced the concern of the millions and has called for the Government to be more transparent. While his general message appears to be “privacy on the internet”, he has also stressed that Facebook are doing all that they can to protect their users.

Writing about his phone conversation with Obama, Zuckerberg said,

I've called President Obama to express my frustration over the damage the government is creating for all of our future. Unfortunately, it seems like it will take a very long time for true full reform.

Here is an excerpt from his Facebook post,

Whether the U.S Government will actually rethink about a reform itself, is the question? Many people consider that the NSA is ruling the Internet with an Iron Hand, behind the excuse of protecting the people by gathering sensitive information from all over the globe.
