Sony has announced a list of Xperia devices which will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. A total of nine devices are in the queue to be updated to the lastes version of Google's mobile operating system.
No actual roadmap was announced for the release of the update, so we don’t have the exact ETA of the updates. But since Sony has begun rolling out the Android 7.0 Update for the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance from today, so we can expect the announcement for the next set of devices to happen soon.
And without further ado, here is the list of Xperia devicess which will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.
- Xperia Z3+
- Xperia Z4 Tablet
- Xperia Z5
- Xperia Z5 Compact
- Xperia Z5 Premium
- Xperia X
- Xperia XA
- Xperia XA Ultra
- Xperia X Compact
Techically this list should also apply to the Xperia Z4, which as you many know, is the same as the Xperia Z3+, with the latter being released as the interational variant, in May 2015. The Z5 series were also launched last year, and were succeeded by the Xperia X series this year, which also marked the end of Sony Xperia’s Z branding style
