WhatsApp is a famous instant messaging application (acquired by Facebook recently) available on multiple platforms like Android, Windows Phone, iOS etc. Now you can use it on your web browser too (It is official and does not require any additional software). Currently it works only on the Chrome browser more browsers will be supported soon. Also your phone need to have connected to the internet to login.
To access your WhatsApp online what you need to do is
1. Access https://web.whatsapp.com/ on your Chrome browser.
2. Scan the QR code displayed on the webpage using your WhatsApp
Windows Phone - WhatsApp=> Menu => WhatsApp Web
Android – WhatsApp => Menu => WhatsApp Web
BlackBerry - WhatsApp => Chats=> Menu => WhatsApp Web
BlackBerry 10 - WhatsApp => Swipe down from top of screen => WhatsApp Web
Nokia S60 => WhatsApp => Menu => WhatsApp Web
Once scanned you will be logged in.
If you are logging in from a common computer just uncheck the “keep me signed in” and logout while to leave the computer.
If you disconnect your phone from internet, the web version also will stop working.
