Moto X4 technical specifications leaked, could be launched in Q4

Lenovo is all set to return Motorola to its original Android series, the Moto X, with the launch of the Moto X4, which will reportedly be in the last quarter of the year.

The device's technical specifications were spilled by Venturebeat’s  Evan Blass today. The Moto X4 will sport a 5.2 inch Full HD 1080p display, enclosed in an aluminium metal body.

The device will run on Android 7.1 Nougat, and will be powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, with 4GB of RAM. The device will feature 64GB of internal storage, with a microSD slot. The Moto X4 will be packed with a 3,000mAh battery, and is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The Moto X4 will flaunt dual rear cameras, one which is an 8-megapixel lens, and the other an 12-megapixel lens, with a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.The Moto X4 will include a front placed fingerprint scanner, which supports gesture navigation.

The Moto X4 will be the first non-Google device, which will support Google Fi MVNO for seamlessly connectivity between Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular and Wi-Fi hotspots.

We only have to wait till the 4th quarter to see if these specs are accurate, and also learn about the 3D Glass and SmartCam features.
